Laser Cutting & Bending

Since 1990, laser cutting, concerning aircraft construction, developed itself into a standard tool for cutting steelplates and, as a consequence, also for precise cutting tubings and rectangular tubings. Since 2006, „KURRI“, as a company, posseses its own installation for laser cutting, where it is possible to cut steelplates up to 15mm, chromate-nickel- and titanium base alloys up to 8mm and aluminium alloys up to 6mm. The relevant primary material is, together with the approptiate certificates and test reports, constantly stored in large quantity, which guarantees a fast time of production and top-quality for our clients.

CNC Machining

About 30 years ago, the technology of CNC found its way into the classic engineering and „KURRI“ also kept up with the times. Since then, the company owns large and small CNC Machines, where almost every customer request can be fulfilled. There is turning, milling and grooving – Ing. Ernst Kurri together with his team, trust in latest technique and longtime know-how.

Welding

Yet in 1989 „KURRI“ mingled with the topic of aviation and with welding, as one of its primary task. Since then, the company developed welding as a further core compentence. In 1991 the Austrian organistion for civil aviation gave permission to the Ing. Ernst Kurri corporation to lead a workshop according to Austrian law. In 2005 the license from the EASA according to european law followed. Since the 1st of September 2007, according to DVS guideline 2715-2, Mr. Kurri got comissioned by the German alliance of welding technology as a verification representative and welding-superviser for aircraft- and spacecraft-construction-companies. The steel, which is used for welding, has the quality 1.7734, 1.7214 or SAE 4130, as well as chromate-nickel steel in a highly heat-proof quality for exhaust systems. Aluminium and its alloys can be treated equally.

Treatment of surface

Depending on the customer requests, our products get electrochemical or chemical surface treatment, or they get corrosion-resistant and powder-coated in a KTL-procedure.

Asembling

If it is a custumers request, „KURI“ installs ball- and hinge bearings into the finished products and it is also possible to conflate several particles to devices. Of course all products get tested bevor they get delivered, so „KURI“ is able to guarantee a blameless end-product to his costumers.
